Join Our Team
Our team is currently looking to expand our community-based intervention team, providing assessment and intervention either directly or via virtual service to our birth to 18 population in the Hamilton and surrounding areas. There is currently a strong demand and immediate caseload available for clinicians experienced in early intervention, natural language acquisition, motor speech, and parent coaching.
Interested candidates may also choose to expand their service delivery to our community and school-based intervention team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with an incredible team of teachers and support staff in the delivery of school-based speech services as funded through by the Ministry of Health and delivered through the Local Health Integration Network Home and Community Support Services Program. Candidates may also visit local daycares to provide ongoing intervention and classroom support to our preschool population. Full mentorship and support in establishing caseload and administrative duties to be provided. This branch of our practice operates within private schools and daycares in the Hamilton and Haldimand areas and will require some travel. Caseloads to be established to maximize time spent in one location, with some full days available at some schools.
If you are interested in learning from an experienced SLP with a vested interest in providing outstanding, evidence-based, and creative intervention this position is for you. Full training and continuing education opportunities are available with direct access to an SLP with over 20 years of experience working with adults and children in private practice. All SLPs within the practice will have access to a wide range of standardized assessment tools and training in their use, interpretation, and reporting.
This is an open posting and will remain open until the right fit for our growing practice is found. Candidates who have a desire to grow their clinical skills under the support and guidance of an experienced mentor with strong roots in the community are encouraged to apply.
