Hi- I’m Amy, mom to three beautiful boys and speech-language pathologist for the past 15 years. While my boys have taught me everything I need to know about dinosaurs, race cars, superheroes, and nerf guns, my middle child has taught me everything I never thought I’d need to know about parenting a child with unique learning needs – including a severe motor speech disorder. In many regards, my boys have been my greatest teachers… and one in particular has changed the way that I view my practice.
While my heart belongs to all things speech, language, and communication, my passion lies in the practice of educating, engaging, and empowering families. With strong roots in functional and meaningful intervention, AO SLP services is committed to supporting each child reach his/her full communication and academic potential.
